With an eye on performance, Netopia 3300 Series High-Performance gateways incorporate world-class hardware design and Motorola's field proven, feature-rich embedded software. With a wide selection of models and features, the Netopia 3300 Series has the right model for mass deployment to residences and small businesses, from single-PC connections to wired or wireless networking. A common software platform simplifies deployment and management across different types of subscribers.

The Netopia 3300 Series offers a choice of ADSL, ADSL2/2+, or Ethernet WAN connections, and USB, Ethernet, and 802.11g Wi-Fi LAN interfaces The DSL models feature integrated ADSL or ADSL2/2+ modems, and both DSL and Ethernet models are available with 4-port managed switches.

Automatic Provisioning. Upon initial power-up, Netopia 3300 Series gateways can be configured to "phone home" by contacting a pre-designated auto-configuration server (ACS), such as the Motorola Netopia Broadband Server (NBBS) service management platform or another TR-069 ACS. Without subscriber intervention, services are provisioned, gateway software configured, and the correct services activated. This real-time provisioning also helps streamline inventory management by leveraging a common hardware platform that can be customized upon activation.

Security. The Netopia 3300 Series includes Motorola's hallmark routing and security, protecting even single user households from hackers and denial-of-service attacks.

3-D Reach® Extreme Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi equipped models feature Motorola's powerful 3-D Reach Extreme Wi-Fi technology for superior wireless range, performance, and coverage, with improved network robustness gained by minimizing interference from products like microwaves, cordless phones, and neighboring wireless networks. Support for Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM) assures advanced QoS for wireless delivery of VoIP or video.

High-Value Service Features. For the delivery of high-value services such as VoIP, IPTV, and triple play with maximum service quality, the Netopia 3300 Series delivers the following benefits:

  • Broadcast-quality video and crystal-clear voice are assured by Motorola's VGx QoS technology.
  • Services from different providers can be delivered concurrently to multiple TVs or devices, while maintaining QoS and rapid channel changing through support for TR-101 and IGMPv3.
  • Video-on-demand features like fast forward, pause, and rewind are enabled via RTSP support.

Comprehensive Remote Manageability. Through support for the DSL Forum TR-069 specification, Netopia 3300 Series gateways offer comprehensive remote manageability, including centralized remote provisioning, troubleshooting, and management.
