Motorola is building exciting new relationships with major carriers, IOCs, service providers, and distributed enterprises worldwide for implementation of our carrier-class auto-configuration server (ACS) platform, the Motorola Broadband Server.
The industry-leading Motorola Broadband Server is a highly scalable, secure, carrier-class CPE and LAN device management platform that helps carriers increase profitability and reduce costs through new service revenues and operational efficiencies. Motorola Broadband Server conforms to DSL Forum standards and is one of the most advanced TR-069 compatible ACS platforms on the market today.
Motorola invites DSL router and gateway vendors worldwide, as well as manufacturers of other TR-069 enabled devices such as set-top boxes, webcams, and VoIP phones to leverage Motorola's expertise in TR-069 client and server technologies by submitting their products for compliance certification with Motorola's TR-069 ACS and for interoperability with Motorola Broadband Server’s suite of management applications.
Motorola's Interoperability Certification Program offers vendors the opportunity to validate their products with a carrier class TR-069 ACS, to correct flaws wherever uncovered, and to ensure interoperability at time of delivery. Our Certification Engineering Lab will test devices for their level of compliance with Motorola's TR-069 ACS and will qualify them for interoperability with Motorola Broadband Server's suite of management applications.
As part of this program, Motorola will assign a specialized interoperability engineer to each manufacturer and will evaluate a product’s ability to perform connectivity tests, assess support for required TR-069 parameters, and test vendor extensions. For problems or incompatibilities uncovered, Motorola will work with the vendor to discuss options for problem resolution and improved functionality.
Motorola Broadband Server offers the widest range of flexibility in supporting and managing network devices using management interfaces including TR-069, CLI, HTTP, and proxy applets. Motorola Broadband Server applications and services offer features that distinguish it from other device management platforms, including sophisticated policy management across multiple disparate locations, seamless integration into third-party OSS systems, support for advanced service provisioning, and valuable extensions for help desk applications.
